We are pleased to have Alison Lewis join our Scarborough office from 11th November 2020. Alison is an experienced Family Solicitor having worked in this area of law for over 15 years and is a Resolution Member. She deals with all aspects of family law including divorce, civil partnership dissolution, cohabitation, separation agreements, financial issues on separation and injunctions. She also deals with disputes regarding arrangements for children and acts for grandparents as well as parents in private children law proceedings. With regard to Stamp Duty, a higher rate is payable when an additional residential property is purchased in England, Wales or Northern Ireland. The higher rates apply even if your other residential properties are outside any of these countries.
